The war between Iran, Israel, and the United States has started to spread into nearby countries like Iraq and Syria. In recent weeks, rockets and drones have been fired from parts of Iraq towards military bases in Syria that host US troops. These attacks are often carried out by armed groups linked to Iran. The situation has made both Iraq and Syria more unstable, as their governments struggle to control armed militias operating inside their borders. In some cases, Iraqi security forces have launched investigations and searches to find those responsible. The conflict has also led to strikes on militia sites and increased military activity across the region. Many civilians are worried as violence moves across borders and affects daily life. Countries in the region are trying to avoid a wider war, but the fighting continues to spread. The situation shows how quickly a regional conflict can grow and affect many neighboring countries at the same time.
LORD, grant the oneness and discernment for all the regional and international leaders to end the conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran. Raise peacemakers to end the war in the region. Let there be unity among them to protect the people and bring peace to the region (The Holy Bible, Psalm 133:1).
Pray for the LORD’s healing power upon the region and the people in Syria. Pray for peace and justice to prevail in the country and in the region (The Holy Bible, Psalm 4:8).
