The United Nations is worried about rising fighting between Israel and Hezbollah near the Blue Line in southern Lebanon. The UN Interim Force in Lebanon reported heavy exchanges of fire and strong airstrikes. Many civilians are suffering, and over 1.2 million people have fled their homes. Thousands are staying in crowded shelters with limited space and resources. The World Health Organization reported attacks on hospitals and health workers, causing deaths and injuries. Aid groups are providing blankets, water, and fuel, but needs are growing quickly. UNICEF said many children are affected, with hundreds killed or injured. Schools are being used as shelters, stopping education for many students. Officials fear the situation may worsen, leaving families without safety, proper healthcare, or education in the coming days.

Sovereign LORD, we pray for Your divine intervention in Lebanon to end the violence and to bring peace and stability. We cover all the Lebanese people, especially children, under the Precious Blood of our LORD Jesus Christ (The Holy Bible, Psalm 57:1).
