An uneasy silence has settled over Tyre in Lebanon as fighting between Israel and Hezbollah grows stronger. Many people have left after Israel told civilians to move north, but some residents remain because they cannot afford to leave or do not want to abandon their homes. Empty streets and closed shops show how much life has changed in the city. People who stay try to continue daily activities like buying food or working, even as nearby buildings lie damaged from air strikes. Some have sent their families away for safety while they stay behind to protect their homes or businesses. Aid groups warn that shelters and food supplies are under pressure as more people are displaced. Despite fear and danger, many residents say they will not leave, showing strong attachment to their city and determination to endure difficult times.

Sovereign GOD, we plead for Your divine intervention in Lebanon and in the region to end the bloodshed. LORD, we bring all the vulnerable people in Lebanon under the Precious and Powerful Blood of Jesus Christ, Your SON. Surround them with Your peace and comfort (The Holy Bible, 2 Samuel 22:3).

Pray for the LORD’s intervention in Lebanon to destroy evil-doers and their evil agenda against the innocent civilians and the nation. Pray for peace and protection for all the Lebanese people (The Holy Bible, Nehemiah 4:20).
