Hind Kabawat is the only female minister in the transitional Syrian government. Her mission is to rebuild the war-torn nation, but she has a big job ahead of her. There is poverty and destruction throughout the country, with millions of people displaced and living in tents. There are also divisions and sectarian warfare. Kabawat seems to be concentrating on the most vulnerable groups and is also advocating for an increase in the number of women involved in the Syrian government. She believes that women should not be given just visibility but also actual power. Despite limited resources, she travels across Syria, listening to people’s needs, teaching skills like handicrafts, and trying to build trust. Kabawat stresses dialogue and unity as essential to recovery, while highlighting the need for international support and faster legal reforms. She acknowledges the suffering of Syrians and feels responsible for helping them, but she remains determined, balancing empathy with action, and insists that rebuilding Syria will take time, patience, and cooperation from the global community.

Praise GOD for Hind Kabawat, Syria’s only female minister. Pray for the success of all her efforts in rebuilding the nation. Pray for gender equality in all sectors in the country (The Holy Bible, Psalm 92:10).

Pray for Syrian women to have access to all their rights and freedoms. Pray for them to shine for HIS Glory in rebuilding the nation. Pray for peace, provision, and divine protection for all the vulnerable people, especially women and girls, in the country  (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 60:1).
