Benjamin Netanyahu’s corruption trial is one of the most important and longest legal battles in Israel’s history. He is the first sitting Israeli prime minister to face criminal charges while in office. The trial began in May 2020 and includes three separate cases. The most serious case accuses Netanyahu of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust. Prosecutors say he helped a friend, Shaul Elovitch, by approving major regulatory benefits for the Bezeq telecom company. In return, they claim Elovitch’s news site gave Netanyahu positive coverage. Netanyahu denies all accusations and has repeatedly said he is innocent. His testimony began in late 2024 but has been delayed many times, mostly at his request, which has slowed the process. Experts say the trial could continue for years because it still requires more testimony, a verdict, and possible appeals. Netanyahu’s recent request for a presidential pardon has added new controversy to the already tense and highly public case.

Pray for unbiased, fair, transparent, and accelerated trials in Benjamin Netanyahu’s ongoing corruption case. Pray for justice to prevail in the corruption allegations. (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 21:15).

Pray for the legal system in Israel to act with fairness and independence. Pray for the truth, transparency, and justice to uproot corruption at every level of government in the country (The Holy Bible, Deuteronomy 16:19).
