Heavy rains from the late monsoon have caused severe flooding in Thailand and Vietnam, forcing thousands of people to leave their homes. In Thailand, rivers overflowed, and some of the dam water had to be released, flooding nearby towns and villages. Many people are stranded without electricity, food, or clean water, and some streets are completely underwater. In Vietnam, rivers have also risen, damaging homes, roads, and crops, and emergency teams are helping people evacuate. The floods have destroyed property and made travel and daily life very difficult. Officials warn that climate change may be causing stronger and more frequent storms, making floods worse. Rescue teams are working hard to reach stranded families, and relief supplies are being sent to affected areas. Malaysia is expected to face similar heavy rains and possible flooding next, as the storm system moves south through the region.

Pray for divine protection and provision for all the flood victims in Thailand and Vietnam. Pray for them to have immediate access to food, shelter, and other basic needs (The Holy Bible, Lamentations 3:56).

Pray for an improved and more effective disaster management system in Thailand and Vietnam to tackle the severe weather and protect civilians. Pray for divine protection for all the Vietnamese people from natural disasters.  (The Holy Bible, Psalm 33:20).
