More than a week after the latest conflict escalation on 2 March, thousands of families in Lebanon have been forced to flee their homes because of Israeli evacuation warnings and heavy airstrikes. Authorities say more than 667,000 people have now registered as displaced, and the number continues to grow every day. Around 120,000 people are staying in government shelters, while many others are living with relatives or searching for safe places to stay. Many families left their homes quickly with almost nothing and have been displaced for the second time since the fighting in 2024. Some have moved to safer areas such as Beirut, northern districts, and the Bekaa region. At the same time, many people are crossing into Syria to escape the violence. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees is providing emergency supplies like blankets, mattresses, and lamps to help displaced families. Aid workers are also giving psychological support as many people, especially children and elderly citizens, are suffering from fear, trauma, and deep uncertainty.

Pray for the LORD’s intervention in Lebanon against the unrest and escalation of violence. Pray for peace and stability in the country and in the region (the Holy Bible, 2 Chronicles 7:14).

Pray for divine protection upon all the displaced people in Lebanon. Pray for the Holy Spirit of GOD to remove anxiety and fear, and to bless them with divine peace and safety (The Holy Bible, Psalm 23:1-2).
