Jordan’s Minister of Social Development, Wafa Bani Mustafa, met with Maher Khudair, Chief Justice of the Palestinian Supreme Shariah Court, in Amman to strengthen cooperation on social and family welfare issues. The talks focused on empowering women and children, protecting families, and improving care for the elderly. Both sides agreed on the need to share expertise in areas such as personal status laws, judicial procedures, marriage, divorce, custody, and inheritance, noting the strong similarities between Jordanian and Palestinian legal frameworks. Bani Mustafa reaffirmed Jordan’s commitment to supporting Palestine, highlighting King Abdullah’s ongoing efforts to end Israeli aggression against Gaza and his steadfast advocacy for the Palestinian people’s justice and independence.

Abba Father, empower women with courage and children with safety and opportunity. Let societies rise where every woman’s voice is valued, and every child grows under Your protection and love. Amen (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 31:25).

Lord, bless leaders in Jordan and Palestine with humility and discernment. Guide them to serve with justice and mercy, to lift up the weak, and to build systems rooted in care, fairness, and understanding. In Jesus’ name. Amen (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 1:5).
