Iran-backed militias across the Middle East are increasing attacks against Israel, the United States, and their allies during the growing conflict with Ali Khamenei’s government. Groups linked to Iran have launched missiles, drones, and rocket strikes, but most have avoided a full-scale confrontation. In Lebanon, Hezbollah has fired missiles and drones toward Israel after the killing of Khamenei, the cleric and former supreme leader of Iran. In Iraq, Shia militias attacked a U.S. diplomatic facility in Baghdad and have targeted American bases in the region. Meanwhile, the Houthis in Yemen have not yet restarted attacks in the Red Sea, although they warned they are ready. Experts believe Iran may be holding some groups in reserve in case the war becomes larger. Attacks have also reached Jordan, where missiles and drones were intercepted. Although fighting continues, many militias appear cautious because they fear strong retaliation from the U.S. and Israel if they escalate the conflict further.

Pray for a swift end to the violence in the Middle East and the Arabian Peninsula. Pray for divine protection of innocent civilians, especially children and women, in the regions. Pray for them to have shelter, food, and other basic needs and rights (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 25:4).

Pray for international authorities to take immediate action to end the violence and bring peace and stability to the Middle East and Arabian Peninsula. Pray for peace and justice to prevail in the regions (The Holy Bible, Psalm 37:6).
