Two years after the October 7 attacks, there is finally a chance for peace between Israel and Hamas. The war has caused terrible suffering on both sides: over 1200 Israelis were killed, and 251 taken hostage; in Gaza, more than 66000 people, including 18000 children, have died. Now, secret talks are happening in Egypt, with the US, Qatar, and Egypt pushing for a deal. Hamas may release hostages, and in return, some Palestinian prisoners could go free. Israel wants Hamas destroyed and Gaza demilitarized, while Hamas wants to survive and protect itself. Both sides are under pressure at home. Trump is pushing hard to make this peace plan work. The talks are delicate, marked by deep mistrust and significant challenges. However, if they succeed, the war could come to an end, and thousands of lives could be saved. If they fail, the suffering will continue. This moment offers hope, but it is fragile and could collapse at any time.

Pray for the LORD’s intervention in the peace talks between Israel and Hamas to end the war. Pray for the success of the peace talks to bring an end to the crisis, benefiting the welfare of the people in the countries and the Middle East region (The Holy Bible, Psalm 46:9).

Pray for the immediate and safe return of the remaining Israeli hostages. Pray for the LORD to heal the nations and bless them with hope and a bright future (The Holy Bible, Jeremiah 29:11).
