The issue of foreign Christians being expelled from Türkiye has drawn attention from international organizations and human rights groups. Since 2020, more than 200 foreign Christian workers have been removed from the country, affecting around 350 people in total. Many of those expelled were church leaders who had lived in Türkiye for many years and helped guide local Protestant communities. Their removal has left many congregations without spiritual leadership. The European Parliament and the European Court of Human Rights have raised concerns about these actions, saying they may lack proper legal process. The US Commission on International Religious Freedom has also called for Türkiye to be placed on a watch list for religious freedom violations. Human rights groups argue that peaceful religious activity should not be treated as a security threat. However, Türkish authorities deny wrongdoing and say these decisions are part of national security measures and internal policy.

Pray for more religious freedom in Türkiye. Pray for the Holy Spirit of GOD to turn the hearts and minds of the authorities towards Truth, justice, and righteousness (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 21:1).

Pray for the Türkish government to lift the restrictions on Christians living in the nation. Pray for the government to uphold the rights and freedoms of all the people living in the country. Pray for divine protection upon all the Christians in the country (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 20:28).
