Cambodia evacuated about 250 families from Prey Chan village due to safety concerns. Both nations traded accusations over who initiated the shooting and who violated the truce. Cambodia called for an independent investigation, while Thailand demanded an apology and stricter enforcement of ceasefire terms. The border remains volatile, with unresolved territorial disputes and historical tensions continuing to fuel conflict.
