The Election Commission (EC) has finalized the registration of 81 domestic election observer organizations for the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election. The EC published the official list on its website, signed by Md. Ruhul Amin Mallik, director of the Public Relations Wing. Earlier, 73 organizations were initially shortlisted, with the public invited to submit claims or objections by October 20. After reviewing the objections, the EC approved 66 organizations in the first phase (registration valid from Nov 6, 2024 to Nov 5, 2030). Following further scrutiny, 15 more organizations were approved in the second phase (valid from Dec 4, 2024 to Dec 3, 2030), completing the total of 81 registered observer groups. These organizations are now authorized to monitor the national polls for the next five years.
