Christians in Syria face many deep problems because of long years of conflict and violence. One of the most painful events happened on 22 June 2025, when a suicide attack at Mar Elias Church in Damascus killed many believers and injured others. Families are still grieving the loss of loved ones, and children carry both physical and emotional scars from that day. Many Christians live with trauma, fear, and sadness, and some struggle to return to normal church life after such attacks. Injuries, displacement, and poverty make daily life even harder. Some believers also feel unsafe and anxious about the future in their communities. Because of this, many need counselling and emotional support to help them heal. Local partners and mission workers provide trauma care, prayer, and Christian counselling to help people rebuild hope. Even in this suffering, Syrian Christians continue to hold on to faith, but the journey toward healing is long and difficult.

Pray for the divine protection upon all the Christians in Syria from harm and violence. Pray that the Holy Spirit of GOD will empower and encourage all Syrian believers facing persecution, isolation, displacement, and poverty (The Holy Bible, Psalm 147:3).

Almighty GOD, our Wonderful Counsellor, bless the work of counsellors and Mission workers as they serve believers in Syria. Heal the believers, both physically and psychologically, and bless them with a new hope and a bright future (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 9:6).
