South Sudan is facing a deep humanitarian and political crisis that is hurting ordinary people the most. Fighting between government and opposition groups has returned, especially in areas like Jonglei State. Hospitals are overwhelmed, and most healthcare is now provided by aid groups. Many wounded soldiers and civilians are treated by these organizations because government services are weak or missing. Doctors often work without proper pay, and supplies are limited. Roads are poor, so patients sometimes arrive too late for treatment, and infections are common. The situation is made worse by poverty, corruption, and low government spending on health. Although the country has oil wealth and receives foreign aid, most people still struggle to survive. Many fear the violence will continue, trapping communities in a cycle of war, suffering, and broken services.

Pray for the spirit of reconciliation and the spirit of oneness among the leaders in South Sudan. Pray for the end of the violence and restoration of stability in the country (The Holy Bible, Psalm 82:3).

Pray that the LORD GOD opens doors for safe and effective aid supplies to reach those in dire need in South Sudan. Pray for the divine provision of the physical and spiritual needs of all the people in the country (The Holy Bible, Psalm 50:15).
