Pakistan: The bus was transporting approximately 40 schoolchildren when it exploded around 7:40 AM local time. It is uncommon for foreign journalists to be permitted entry into the province in southwestern Pakistan, especially to a hospital located on a military base. The military stated that they wanted international media to observe the consequences of the attack firsthand. Pakistan claims that India is connected to the incident, although there is no independent evidence to support this, and Delhi strongly denies the allegation. India and Pakistan are currently experiencing a fragile ceasefire following a two-week conflict, which was the most significant escalation between them in decades. This conflict involved exchanges of drone strikes, missiles, and artillery fire, resulting in numerous casualties.

  • Pray that God will supernaturally intervene to bring this conflict to an end, bringing peace. Pray that there will be no more bloodshed and loss of lives (The Holy Bible, Colossians 3:13).
  • Lord, we pray for God’s guidance and wisdom for those involved in the aftermath, and pray for all the innocent children; may their future be free from violence and suffering (The Holy Bible, Ephesians 2:14).
