The war in Yemen is one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, but it is often forgotten by many people. It began in 2015 and has brought years of suffering for ordinary civilians. Fighting between different armed groups, including the Houthis, government forces, and a Saudi-led coalition, has destroyed homes, roads, hospitals, schools, and lives. Many families have been forced to leave their houses and live in unsafe places. Food and clean water are very hard to get, and millions of people depend on aid to survive. Children are especially affected, with many becoming sick or malnourished because of hunger and lack of medical care. Airstrikes and shelling have also killed and injured thousands of innocent people. Life in Yemen has become very difficult, with poverty and fear growing every day. Even though some peace talks happen, the conflict continues, and people still hope for safety, stability, and a better future soon.

Almighty GOD, You are the GOD of Restoration. We plead Your divine intervention in the forsaken land of Yemen. Breathe Your Life once again into this land and rebuild the lives and livelihoods of all the people, especially the Yemeni children (The Holy Bible, Joel 2:25).

Abba Father, just as Your servant Daniel, who prayed for the deliverance of his people after 70 years of captivity, we plead for Your Mercy upon the nation of Yemen to deliver the country from war, hatred, hopelessness, and uncertainty. Break every chain of oppression, Oh LORD! Bring hope and healing to the land and the people of the country (The Holy Bible, Daniel 9:9).
