Nepal: Bardibas has become a significant hub for smuggling marijuana from the hill districts of Nepal into India, as well as for illegally bringing controlled pharmaceutical drugs from India into Kathmandu. The Area Police Office in Bardibas reports that drug traffickers have established storage facilities in the vicinity. This situation has impacted schools, residential neighborhoods, and local businesses, with instances of students using marijuana and households reportedly keeping as much as 20 kilograms at once.
- Lord, we pray for Your intervention in the fight against drug trafficking in Bardibas. Bring justice to the situation and empower the authorities to dismantle these operations. Restore peace and safety to the neighborhoods, schools, and businesses affected by this crisis (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 1:17).
