Pray for North Korea - facebook page

A North Korean, Han Sung-ok and her six-year-old son were found dead in their apartment in South Korea, with the cause of death attributed to starvation. This has sparked nation-wide outrage that the South Korean government is not doing enough for more than 32,000 North Korean defectors who have arrived in South Korea since 1998. Many of the protesters were defectors themselves. Emotions were high and there were clashes with police. The government has pledged to attend to this gap in their welfare system.

Pray that North Koreans living in South Korea will have opportunities to hear the Gospel (The Bible, Proverbs 15:30).

She fled North Korea for a better life. She died with her young son in an apartment in Seoul (CNN)
