An environmental activist, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, was sentenced to six years in prison for making some Facebook comments inviting people to attend demonstrations last year. Authorities said his writing and videos were “anti-state.” Amnesty International says there are at least 128 prisoners of conscience serving sentences, with at least ten percent of them for social media posts.

Pray that the Lord will reveal himself to these men and women as the God of Justice who also has a heart for the poor, needy, vulnerable and marginalised (The Bible, Psalm 9:18).
