Christians in Laos face many hardships as they live in poor and isolated rural communities. Many Christian families struggle with poverty, lack of education, unemployment, and limited access to healthcare and basic needs. Because they are religious minorities, some believers also face pressure, discrimination, and rejection from local authorities or communities because of their faith in Christ. In some villages, Christians are isolated, threatened, or prevented from fully participating in community life. Despite these difficulties, many believers remain strong in faith and continue to trust God. Through the support of Mission organizations, families are receiving life-changing help through sustainable farming projects such as mushroom growing, fish hatcheries, and livestock raising. Vocational training in sewing, weaving, motorbike repair, beauty care, and coffee roasting is also helping Christians earn stable incomes and support their families with dignity. These practical projects are bringing hope, encouragement, and long-term stability to vulnerable Christian communities across Laos.

Father GOD, cover Your people in Laos with Your Glory, a shield of protection and strength amid trials and adversity. Let them experience and enjoy Your Presence and Peace (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 4:5).

LORD, we pray for economic relief for the believers in Laos. We pray for them to have fair and equal access to all resources and opportunities for employment. Bless them with Your hope and a bright future (The Holy Bible, Psalm 67:1).
