Both sides emphasized continuing dialogue, strengthening trust, promoting development, and contributing to peace in the Asia-Pacific region through long-term cooperation and mutual respect for each country’s development goals and international partnerships in the near future.
Pray for the LORD to expose hidden motives behind financial agreements. Pray that Brunei be protected from any debt traps. Pray that Bruneian leaders have wisdom, discernment, and courage. May they make the right decisions as they pursue a partnership with China (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 22:3).
Pray for just and sustainable development in Brunei and in the region. Pray for the success of the authorities’ efforts to improve the lives and livelihoods of civilians in the country and the region (The Holy Bible, Psalm 72:12).
