In Vietnam, many young people are now described as the “three no’s,” meaning they are not in school, not working, and not in training. Around 1.4 million youth aged 15–24 is in this situation, showing a serious social concern. Experts say this is not because young people are lazy, but because jobs and education do not always match real needs. Many graduates have degrees but lack the practical skills needed by employers. At the same time, available jobs are often low-paid, unstable, and offer little future growth. Young people in rural areas and young women are affected more strongly due to fewer opportunities and social pressures. Some also feel stressed or lose motivation when they cannot find meaningful work. The International Labor Organization notes that informal jobs and weak career paths make the situation worse. Overall, the “three no’s” show a gap between education, jobs, and young people’s hopes for a better future.

Almighty GOD, the One who makes a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, do a new thing in the nation of Vietnam. Bless the Vietnamese youth with new jobs, new opportunities, and new life in You. In Jesus’s Name, we pray. Amen (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 43:19).

Pray for wise counsel for the Vietnamese government to eliminate the gap between education, skills, and employment. Pray for the authorities to create more job opportunities for the increased workforce in Vietnam (The Holy Bible, Psalm 121:1-2).

Pray for an increase in women’s participation in the Vietnamese workforce. Pray for gender equality in all sectors in the country (The Holy Bible, Psalm 46:5).
