Tensions between Israel and Hezbollah have sharply increased as both sides continue cross-border attacks despite calls for calm. The conflict has also deeply affected Lebanon, where violence has spread across southern areas. Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz warned that continued defiance from Hezbollah could lead to serious destruction, while Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem said his group will keep resisting and will not accept Israeli demands. Both sides accuse each other of aggression, and strikes have continued in military and civilian areas. Lebanon’s leadership, including President Joseph Aoun, is trying to manage talks to reduce violence, but internal divisions make peace difficult. Reports say thousands have been killed or injured in recent months. Despite heavy fighting, neither side has backed down, raising fears that the conflict could grow even more dangerous if diplomacy fails soon.

Pray for the authorities to take immediate action to defend the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah. Pray for friendly and peaceful relations between Israel and its neighboring countries (The Holy Bible, Psalm 4:8).
Pray for unity and oneness among the leaders of Israel, Lebanon, and Hezbollah, and for peaceful dialogue to end the conflict between them. Pray for them to prioritize the well-being of the people and their country (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 21:15).
