On March 25, 2026, a joint operation by Moroccan and Spanish security agencies was conducted to apprehend a three-man terrorist cell linked to ISIS. The operation was conducted by Morocco’s Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) and Spain’s General Commissariat of Information. Two of the suspects were arrested in Tangier, Morocco, by Morocco’s special forces, while the third suspect, who was leading the cell, was arrested in Mallorca, Spain. From investigations, it is evident that the two suspects arrested in Morocco provided financial and logistical support to ISIS fighters in Somalia and the Sahel region. Similarly, the Spanish suspect was planning a potential lone-wolf attack. According to reports, this operation is a continuation of a long-term security partnership between Morocco and Spain, where more than 30 terrorist cells have been dismantled since 2014. This operation is a clear indication of the cooperation that exists between Morocco and Spain in preventing terrorist attacks, protecting the safety and security of citizens, and combating terrorism in both countries.

Praise GOD for the combined efforts of Morocco and Spain to combat terrorism. Pray for the success of all their efforts to enhance security and eradicate evil from the country (The Holy Bible, Psalm 59:1).

Pray against all the terrorist groups working in Morocco and in the Sahel region. Pray for the LORD to cut the cords of funding of these evil groups across the region. Pray for the LORD to thwart all their plans against the peace of the people in the country and in the region (The Holy Bible, Psalm 129:4).
