In Niger, many women are working hard to rebuild their lives after difficult experiences with migration and poverty. In the Tahoua region, women have returned from unsafe journeys and are now starting small businesses to support their families. With help from local cooperatives and training programs, they learn skills such as saving money, managing work, and producing goods like peanut oil. These groups give women income, confidence, and independence in communities where men often have more power. Instead of depending on risky migration to places like Libya, many women now choose to create opportunities at home. They work together, share ideas, and support each other in daily life. Some even become leaders in their communities, helping others learn and grow. Their efforts improve living conditions for their families and inspire younger people. These women show that with support and teamwork, it is possible to build a safer and better future in Niger.
Praise GOD for the local cooperatives and training programs in Niger, which support the Nigerien women to tackle poverty. Pray for greater participation of women in all the sectors in Niger (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 60:1).
Pray for economic stability in Niger. Pray for the Nigerien authorities to implement more effective measures to improve the lives and livelihoods of the people in the country (The Holy Bible, Psalm 68:10).
