In Central Asia, there is an unreached people group where fewer than 2% of the people follow Jesus. Many men from this group travel to work in other countries for long periods, sometimes up to two years, before returning home. Missionaries like Ross and Dianna Evans spend years building friendships with these men and their families. Ross learned the local language to communicate better, while Dianna often visits homes and talks with women, who usually stay at home. Family life is very important in this culture, and many families live together in shared homes. Showing kindness, such as visiting sick family members in the hospital, has helped the Evanses gain trust and open doors to share the Gospel. Despite their efforts, only about 100 Christians are known among this group, and many believers live in fear of persecution. The missionaries continue to build relationships, understanding the people’s culture and language, and helping local believers share Jesus with others over time. This work requires patience, love, and long-term commitment.

Pray for divine protection and provision for all the mission workers as well as believers in Central Asia. Pray that the  LORD’s continuous Presence and comfort strengthen them so they can continue serving with unwavering faith and love towards the unreached in the region (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 52:7).

Lord Holy Spirit, we pray for Your mighty move among the unreached communities in Central Asia. LORD, break down all cultural and religious barriers and open their hearts to the Gospel, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen (The Holy Bible, Psalm 2:8).

Lord Holy Spirit, equip and empower the missionaries working among the unreached people groups in Central Asia.  Anoint them more with Your Gifts for this harvest field (The Holy Bible, Matthew 9:37-38).
