A projectile struck a residential area in Al-Kharj, a city in Saudi Arabia, killing two foreign workers and injuring twelve others. Authorities said the victims were from India and Bangladesh. The attack happened as tensions grew during the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it had targeted radar systems in the Al-Kharj area, which includes the Prince Sultan Air Base used by US forces. The missile reportedly landed near housing used by workers from a cleaning and maintenance company. Saudi officials also said they intercepted fifteen drones, including one aimed at the diplomatic quarter in Riyadh. Nearby Gulf countries also reported damage, with Kuwait saying fuel tanks at its airport were hit and Bahrain reporting damage to a water desalination plant. Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes reportedly hit several oil facilities near Tehran. The conflict has raised fears of wider regional instability and danger for civilians across the Gulf region.

Pray for divine protection for all the innocent civilians in Saudi Arabia and its neighboring countries. Pray for the LORD’S comfort for the families of the deceased victims. Pray for divine healing power over all the injured victims (The Holy Bible, Psalm 17:8).

Pray for wise counsel and unity among the authorities of the nations in the Arabian Peninsula and the Middle East to find a peaceful solution to end the rising tensions and clashes. Pray for divine peace to prevail in these regions (The Holy Bible, Psalm 46:9).
