The Yemeni armed group Houthis has expressed support for Iran after US and Israeli strikes against Tehran, but has not officially announced new military operations. The United States and Israel began a campaign on February 28 that resulted in the deaths of several Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Iran responded by launching drones and missiles at US bases, Israel, and Gulf countries. Houthi leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi criticized the strikes and expressed support for Iran. He encouraged public demonstrations and media coverage but did not declare military measures. However, anonymous Houthi officials indicated to the media that the group may soon resume attacks on Israel and ships in the Red Sea. Reports also indicate Iran requested the Houthis target shipping routes. Demonstrations took place in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, showing support for Iran and opposition to the US and Israel.

LORD, remember Houthis and their international allies according to their evil works, who have been intimidating the civilians in Yemen and in the region (The Holy Bible, Nehemiah 6:14).

Pray for the LORD to frustrate all the plans of the bloodthirsty people in Yemen and its neighboring countries. Let not their hands achieve no success against peace and protection of innocent civilians in the region (The Holy Bible, Job 5:12).
