The royal family of Brunei is headed by the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, who is the ruler and head of state of the country. He has many children, one of whom is Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei, who currently stands fifth in line to the throne. Very recently, a girl child born to Prince Mateen and his wife, Princess Anisha, was greeted by a 17-gun salute customarily at the Istana Nurul Iman, the royal palace. The new baby carries a royal title but will not get into the line of succession since only male heirs can inherit the throne, as laid down in the laws regarding succession in Brunei. The Brunei royal family frequently appears in public, participating in traditional ceremonies and attending weddings, as well as other major life events. Such occasions attract widespread eyeballs inside the country, as well as abroad. Though the laws related to succession might be strict, personal milestones among them get widely shared and celebrated by those who closely follow modern monarchies.

Praise GOD for the new baby girl in the royal family of Brunei. Pray for the Holy Spirit of GOD to open the minds and hearts of the members of the royal family in Brunei to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and get ready to meet HIM, the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, in HIS second coming (The Holy Bible, Matthew 24:44).

Lord Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, may the culture and leadership of the Heavenly Kingdom be manifested in Brunei and its people (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 9:6).

Pray for the LORD to raise more prayer warriors to break through the strongholds of Islam upon the people of Brunei (The Holy Bible, 1 Timothy 2:1-2)
