Unreached people are communities that have little or no access to the message of Jesus, and many have never heard His name. Miss Mya’s story shows how long and difficult this work can be. When missionaries Edward and Terri Janklow arrived in her area in Southeast Asia, people were not interested and strongly followed their old beliefs. For years, no one became a believer, and the missionaries felt tired and discouraged. Still, they did not give up. Miss Mya slowly learned, asked questions, and years later chose to follow Christ. She later returned to her village to share the message with her own people. Even her father, who heard the gospel many times and always said “maybe one day,” came to faith after 18 years. His story shows that reaching unreached people takes patience, faith, prayer, and long-term commitment, even when results are slow and hard to see.

Lord Holy Spirit, we pray for all the missionaries working among the unreached people groups in the 10/40 Window. Please heal their emotional hardships and bless them with the joy of fulfilling their mission work with a harvest of many new souls (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 13:12).

Lord Holy Spirit, equip and empower the missionaries working among the unreached communities in the 10/40 Window.  Anoint them more with Your Power and Gifts for this harvest field (The Holy Bible, Matthew 9:37-38).
