Yemen is facing a severe winter cold wave that is causing great suffering for millions of displaced families. Many people live in weak tents that cannot protect them from freezing winds, rain, or flooding. In camps near Sanaa and other areas, families struggle every night to stay warm and dry. Children and elderly people are the most affected, and some have died from the cold. Many families do not have enough blankets, warm clothes, food, or medicine. When rain falls, tents become soaked, bedding gets wet, and people have no dry place to sit or sleep. At the same time, hunger and illness are spreading. Aid groups say conditions are worsening in dozens of camps across the country. However, humanitarian help is limited and declining due to funding shortages and political problems. Years of conflict have weakened Yemen’s infrastructure and reduced international support. As winter continues, displaced families remain trapped between extreme cold and a lack of help.

Pray for divine protection upon all the people in Yemen, especially internally displaced people, during this winter. Pray for divine provision of uninterrupted and clean drinking water, food, healthcare, a place to sleep, and other basic needs and rights for all the Yemeni families (The Holy Bible, Psalm 17:8).

Pray for more funding support for the effective implementation and expansion of lifesaving efforts to protect the lives of the suffering innocent civilians in Yemen (The Holy Bible, Genesis 22:14).
