Many young Yemenis face conditions of extreme poverty and limited opportunities. The war that rages in their homeland has ruined jobs, schools, and the ability to lead a normal existence. There are young Yemenis who travel out of the homeland in search of jobs elsewhere, trying to return to their families with financial support that they can transfer from abroad. At other times, they may be deceived or lured by the promise of lucrative pay and even citizenship as they fight for war in other foreign lands, even if they know little about what they may be involved in or the various languages being used. The choices the young Yemenis face prove calamitous, as some get killed in the war or even taken as captives. The parents wait in anxiety, wondering whether their offspring may be dead or alive. Despite all the dangers, the young Yemenis feel they have nowhere else to go if they are to survive and provide for their families.

Pray for the LORD’s provision for all the families suffering unemployment and economic hardship in Yemen. Pray for the people, especially Yemeni youth, to have access to more economic opportunities in their homeland (The Holy Bible, Psalm 118:25).

Pray for more educational and employment opportunities for all the young people in Yemen. Pray that, like the arrows in the hands of a warrior, the young people in the country, in the Hands of the Almighty GOD, are doing HIS Purpose (The Holy Bible, Psalm 127:4).
