Authorities in Sa Kaeo province intercepted a truck smuggling 37 undocumented Cambodian migrants who were hidden behind foam panels. The driver abandoned the vehicle and escaped into nearby fields. The migrants, including men, women, and children, had no legal entry documents and were taken into custody. They reported paying brokers to enter Thailand illegally in search of work due to unemployment and hardship in Cambodia. Officials are intensifying efforts to track down those involved in the smuggling network as cross-border migration attempts continue to rise.

Abba Father, we pray for the safety, dignity, and humane treatment of these migrants and their families, especially the children among them. Amen (The Holy Bible, Psalm 146:9).

Lord, provide employment, stability, and hope for those forced to leave their homes in search of a livelihood. Amen (The Holy Bible, Philippians 4:19).
