Cambodia has urgently called on Thailand to immediately release the 18 Cambodian soldiers who have been held for 130 days. The Cambodian government said Thailand must respect the Joint Declaration on the Peace Agreement, which clearly states that the soldiers must be released promptly. Cambodia also reminded Thailand of its responsibilities under international and humanitarian law, stressing that the detained soldiers should return home safely to their families. Cambodian authorities said they are using every diplomatic and military channel to secure the soldiers’ release and affirmed that they will never abandon their troops.

Abba Father, we lift up the 18 detained soldiers. Surround them with Your protection and open the way for their immediate release. Bring them home safely to their families. Amen (The Holy Bible, Psalm 9:9).

Lord, we pray for peace, wisdom, and understanding between both nations. Let dialogue, fairness, and goodwill guide every decision so that harmony prevails. Amen (The Holy Bible, Matthew 5:9).
