A report by the European Centre for Law and Justice says Christians in Türkiye face legal, social, and government hostility. The report explains that the government restricts churches, interferes with leaders, and limits foreign missionaries and visitors. Christian institutions cannot own property, open bank accounts, hire staff, or interact fully with authorities. Some churches are under government control, and important schools like the Halki Seminary remain closed. Christians are also blamed in the media and by politicians, and some have faced violence, including a 2024 attack on a Catholic church. Türkiye only legally recognizes certain groups, like Greek Orthodox, Armenian Apostolic, and Jews, while other Christians face obstacles. The report says this system reduces Christian communities and threatens their survival. It urges Türkiye to give full legal recognition to all churches, stop interfering with Christian groups, protect places of worship, return confiscated property, and allow foreign pastors and missionaries to work freely, so Christians can practice their faith safely.

Pray for divine protection upon all the Christians in Türkiye. Pray for the LORD to raise great testimonies among the believers to bring down the power of darkness, which blinds the innocent souls from the Truth (The Holy Bible, Matthew 21:44).

Pray against religious and social discrimination in Türkiye. Pray for more religious tolerance in the country. Pray for the lawmakers to ease religious restrictions and allow all citizens to Worship freely (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 21:1).
