Israel’s economy has stayed strong during the war, but it still faces serious economic problems. Tourism remains very weak because visitors are scared to travel during the ongoing conflict, and this hurts many small businesses. Israel also depends heavily on exports to the U.S. and Europe, so any slowdown abroad could reduce demand for Israeli products. Another issue is the country’s strict regulations and complicated bureaucracy, which make it hard for companies to grow and invest. The economy is also very uneven. The high-tech sector is powerful and creates much of the country’s wealth, but most other industries are far less productive. This creates large gaps in income and opportunity. Poverty rates are high, and many students do not receive the skills needed for modern jobs. Experts warn that education and productivity gaps could hurt Israel’s future strength.

Pray for the Israeli government to take action to revitalize the education system, empowering students with the modern job skills they need. Pray for an improved education system and internal economy in the country (The Holy Bible, Psalm 127:4).

Almighty GOD, we pray for the wise counsel for the authorities to build a strong, skilled workforce and to diversify the economy in Israel. LORD, empower all the youth in the country to reach their full potential and contribute to their communities (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 16:3).
