Türkiye has long been a popular place for tourists, famous for its sun, sea, and beaches. But recently, fewer people are visiting. One reason is that wildfires have burned large parts of the Mediterranean and Aegean coasts for several years in a row. These areas are very important for holiday resorts, and fires make tourists worried about safety. Another problem is earthquakes, which have also struck the same regions. People are scared of visiting places that are not safe from natural disasters. At the same time, Türkiye is experiencing high inflation, which means the prices of hotels, food, transport, and daily life are going up quickly. This makes the country more expensive for tourists. All these problems together are hurting Türkiye’s tourism business. Tourism is very important for the country’s economy. If visitors continue to stay away, it will be hard for Türkiye to recover and bring tourists back to its beaches and historic cities.
Pray for wise counsel for the authorities of Türkiye to improve the nation’s tourism sector. Pray for the implementation of strong precautionary measures to safeguard the lives and livelihoods of all citizens, as well as visitors, from natural calamities (The Holy Bible, Psalm 118:25).
Pray for economic stability in Türkiye. Pray for wise counsel and insight for the authorities to tackle the economic and climatic challenges in the country (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 8:15).
Pray for the believers around the world to use this opportunity to travel and share the Good News with the people of Türkiye. Pray for the unreached in the country to encounter the Love of GOD (The Holy Bible, 1 Chronicles 16:24).
