A drone attack hit near the main airport in Khartoum, Sudan, just one day before domestic flights were set to start again after months of closure due to war. People in the city heard explosions early Tuesday (21st October 2025), but there are no clear reports of injuries or damage yet. The airport was badly damaged when fighting broke out last year between the army and a paramilitary group called the Rapid Support Forces, who took control of the airport for a time. The army has since regained the city and worked to fix the airport, hoping to reopen it soon. This recent strike is the third attack in the capital in a week, showing that the conflict is still very active. The fighting has caused many deaths and forced millions of people to leave their homes. What began as a fight for power has now turned into a bigger war involving many groups and has caused one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.

Pray for the LORD’s divine intervention in Sudan to end the war. Pray for an effective ceasefire talk between the warring parties in the nation. Pray against all the illegal support from other countries to continue the war. Pray for the LORD to thwart all their plans against innocent civilians (The Holy Bible, Job 5:12).

Pray for the LORD to heal the people, both physically and psychologically, and bless them with hope and a bright future. Pray for peace and stability to prevail in the country (The Holy Bible, 2 Samuel 22:3).
