Kim Jung-wook is a South Korean Christian missionary who was arrested in North Korea almost 12 years ago because of his faith. He was caught in 2013 after bringing religious items into the country. North Korean authorities made him confess to crimes like spying and spreading anti-government messages. In 2014, he was given a life sentence in prison. Since then, his family has not been allowed to contact him, and no one knows where he is or how he is doing. North Korea has kept details about him and other detained missionaries secret. The United States and Christian groups have spoken out against his imprisonment. They ask for his release and want people to pray for him and others who are held in North Korea. These prisoners are believed to be kept to stop people from practicing their religion and to silence anyone who speaks against the government. People continue to hope for their freedom and justice.

Pray for the immediate and unconditional release of all the Christians, Missionaries, including Kim Jung-wook, in North Korea. Pray for the end of religious oppression in the country, for nothing is impossible with the LORD (The Holy Bible, Matthew 19:26).

Pray for the LORD to reveal the whereabouts of Kim Jung-wook and other mission workers in North Korea. Pray for justice to prevail for the victims in the country. (The Holy Bible, 2 Chronicles 16:9).
